Youth Empower Green: Youth Work for a Sustainable Future

We are proud and happy to share that our Erasmus+ Training Course Youth Empower Green has been approved. The project will take place in Ureki, Georgia, and will bring together youth workers, trainers and professionals from 10 different countries to explore the role of youth work in building a more sustainable future.

With Youth Empower Green, Bildung Nijmegen wants to create a learning space where participants can exchange experiences, develop practical tools and reflect on how young people can be supported in taking action for the environment and their communities. The project focuses on sustainability, green skills, non-formal learning and European cooperation.

During the training course, participants will work with creative and participatory methods. They will explore how youth work can contribute to climate awareness, active citizenship and positive change at local level. The programme will also offer space for intercultural learning, dialogue and cooperation between organisations from across Europe.

For Bildung Nijmegen, this project is an important step in connecting our local work with international learning opportunities. We believe that young people and youth workers have an important role to play in the transition towards a greener, fairer and more conscious society.

The exact dates, programme details and application information will be announced soon. For now, we are very grateful and excited that Youth Empower Green can become a reality.
