International
Bildung works internationally from a strong local foundation. We are active in European and international collaborations in which encounter, exchange and shared learning are central. By bringing together people and organisations from different countries, we create space for new perspectives, shared questions and mutual understanding.

A significant part of our international work takes place within programmes such as Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and Interreg. Bildung holds the Erasmus+ Quality Label, recognising us as an organisation that meets European quality standards in participant support, learning processes and safeguarding.

Within these frameworks, we collaborate with partners from different countries and regions on exchanges, training courses and learning trajectories for young people, young adults and professionals. These are not stand-alone mobilities, but integrated learning processes that connect local, regional and international contexts.

Non-formal learning is at the heart of our international projects. Participants learn through experience, dialogue and cross-border collaboration. Themes such as citizenship, solidarity, inclusion, culture, identity and social engagement often form the starting point. We place strong emphasis on equality, careful facilitation and sustainable partnerships.

For us, working internationally does not mean exporting a fixed model. It means co-creating meaningful practices together. What develops locally feeds into international exchange, and what we learn internationally is translated back into our regional and educational work.

In this way, we build networks and projects that contribute to personal development, professional learning and an open, connected society, across borders.
