Dialogue & Community
Dialogue and community form a core pillar within Bildung Nijmegen. Through conversations, dialogue tables, and community events, we create spaces where people can truly meet one another. Not to convince or debate, but to listen, share experiences, and reflect together on personal and societal themes.

Within this domain, we organize and facilitate dialogue tables, discussion evenings, and open encounters around topics such as identity, mental health, citizenship, democracy, and living together in diversity. These moments bring together young people, makers, professionals, and local residents in settings that invite openness, curiosity, and mutual understanding.

Our activities are accessible and carefully facilitated. We work with clear frameworks, attention to safety and respect, and room for different perspectives. We see dialogue not as a debate, but as a shared exploration, where questions and lived experiences are just as important as opinions.

Dialogue & Encounter takes place at various locations in Nijmegen and the surrounding region, often in collaboration with local partners, educational institutions, and cultural organizations. In this way, we build connections between people, communities, and worlds that do not naturally meet.
