Jeugdverbinden 2.0: Young people share their ideas for Nijmegen

Around 35 young people, together with approximately 10 other participants and interested guests, came together at the FNV building in Nijmegen for another co-creation session as part of Jeugdverbinden 2.0: Our City, Our Voice!

The session was organised by Bildung Nijmegen in collaboration with Stichting SpelSlot.

What do young people need in Nijmegen?

During the session, participants discussed what matters to them as young people living in Nijmegen. They reflected on what the city already does well, what they currently miss and what they believe is needed to make Nijmegen more inclusive, accessible and welcoming for young people.

Everyone had the opportunity to share their experiences, concerns, wishes and ideas. The different perspectives led to open conversations and provided valuable input for the next stages of Jeugdverbinden 2.0.

The ideas collected during the session will help shape the next phase of the project, in which young people will work together to turn their priorities into concrete initiatives, activities and campaigns.

Pizza, games and new connections

After the discussions, everyone enjoyed pizza together. The evening then continued with a variety of games organised by SpelSlot. This created a relaxed atmosphere in which participants could get to know one another, make new connections and simply enjoy spending time together.

We look back on another successful Jeugdverbinden 2.0 gathering. A special thank you goes to Natchai Leenders from Stichting SpelSlot for the wonderful collaboration, his warm welcome and his contribution to the evening.
