In Nijmegen, we work every day toward a city where everyone can participate, feel seen, and access equal opportunities. That is why Bildung Nijmegen is proud to join IN: the new learning network in which organisations across the region collaborate to create more inclusive workplaces.
For us, it matters to be part of a movement that doesn’t only talk about inclusion, but actively puts it into practice, through the way we work together, how we make decisions, and how we create space for each person’s talent, background, and story. This is exactly what Bildung stands for, and what we have been building with young people, partners, and communities for years.
This week, we have symbolically signed the initiative. The formal signing will follow as soon as possible, but our commitment is already firmly in place. We look forward to learning and collaborating with our fellow partners—among them Bindkracht10, Sterker sociaal werk, GGD Gelderland-Zuid, WerkBedrijf Rijk van Nijmegen, Radboud University, Politie Nederland, and the Municipality of Nijmegen—to strengthen what already exists and create more shared impact.
For us, this is not a formality but a meaningful next step in how we want to continue growing as an organisation: open, honest, curious, and always evolving. Inclusion isn’t created in a single moment; it grows through every conversation, every collaboration, and every space where people meet.
We are proud to be part of this network and look forward to the insights, connections, and collective steps it will bring for our city.
