Where future thinking lands: Bildung Nijmegen at TEDx ROC Nijmegen

On May 14, 2025, TEDx ROC Nijmegen took place – a day full of energy, innovation, and inspiring ideas about technology, education, and personal growth. Bildung Nijmegen was proud to participate as an official partner in this special event held at Heyendaalseweg in Nijmegen.

The program revolved around two main pillars. First, the exciting RoboRacer competition, where student teams raced their self-built autonomous vehicles, showcasing technical skills, creativity, and teamwork. Second, a series of TEDx talks featured speakers from diverse fields sharing insights on topics such as artificial intelligence, future-proof education, leadership, and societal change.

Among the speakers was philosopher Jan Bransen, who emphasized the importance of critical thinking and ethics in a rapidly changing world. His talk highlighted how essential reflection and awareness are in shaping a better future. Other experts also inspired the audience with their insights and calls to action.

Our chairman, Yavuz Goktas, served as the host of the event, underscoring Bildung Nijmegen’s commitment to guiding young people and professionals in developing critical thinking, social engagement, and a solid values foundation. His presence reflected the vital role Bildung plays in an era of continuous technological and social change.
