“ I share, therefore I am”

Yesterday marked the festive and well-attended opening of the exhibition “Ik deel, dus ik ben” (“I share, therefore I am”), organized by Deborah Heijne of Studio Monk. It was an inspiring evening filled with art, connection, and meaningful exchange.

We are especially proud that two members of our Bildung community are among the exhibiting artists. Mina presents beautiful traditional Afghan dresses with a modern twist, a powerful fusion of culture, fashion, and identity. Shohreh showcases an impressive work made of glass, lead, and ceramics, portraying multiple faces of herself, each expressing a different emotion. A deeply personal yet universally relatable expression of the inner world.

The exhibition is open to visitors until Sunday, June 15th, daily from 13:00 to 17:00 at Studio Monk, Korenpad 10 in Nijmegen. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to be touched by art with a story.
