At Stichting Bildung Platform Nijmegen we believe young people are not just the future, they are the present. With Jeugdverbinden 2.0: Our City, Our Voice, we are building a Nijmegen where your voice truly matters. Not tomorrow, but today.
In Jeugdverbinden 2.0: Our City, Our Voice, we bring together young people from Nijmegen and the surrounding area to talk about what is happening in their lives, their neighbourhoods and their future. Topics such as equal opportunities, mental health, climate, education, culture and democratic participation all come together. But this is not just about talking. We organise interactive sessions, creative workshops and meetings with policymakers and organisations in the city. What you say will be heard. What you create can make a real difference.
Are you between 16 and 27 years old and living in Nijmegen or nearby? Whether you are studying, working, figuring things out, new to the Netherlands or born and raised here, you are welcome. You do not need experience. Just curiosity, motivation and the willingness to help shape a city that is also yours.
You will meet new people, develop skills such as public speaking, organising and critical thinking, and work together on concrete ideas for Our City, Our Voice. This is your opportunity to step in, take part and have an impact.
