Last night, Café de Plak turned into a real haunted house. Mysterious figures wandered through the crowd as students from ROC Rijn IJssel took on their roles as scary actors during the Halloween Scavenger Hunt through the city centre. Between laughter and a few startled screams, teams discovered Nijmegen in a completely new way.
After the hunt, it was time for the Halloween Pub Quiz. Teams competed with enthusiasm, answering questions about horror films, eerie traditions and old legends. The atmosphere was perfect, good vibes, laughter, and just the right amount of tension. When the quiz was over, the party truly began, with music, dancing and lots of happy faces.
It was one of those nights where everything came together: fun, creativity and connection. Exactly what Bildung Nijmegen stands for.
A huge thank-you to Café de Plak, Fieldwork Foundation, our Bildung community, the students of ROC Rijn IJssel, and of course Malou Beursken, Ruben van den Hurk, Virgil Eijkhout and Claudia Librizzi for their energy, creativity and enthusiasm. The evening wouldn’t have been the same without you.
See you next year! 👻🧡
